A couple of years ago, Intel has lamented that NVIDIA’s CUDA technology will be obsolete in the near future – a technology that is still alive and kicking. In fact, NVIDIA has further increased the availability of Jen-Hsun Huang's low level virtual machine (LLVM) based compiler, simply by making it an open source code that can be downloaded through NVIDIA.
The low level virtual machine (LLVM) based compiler that is the basic building block of the CUDA technology, has proven its worth, as the LLVM was used in several supercomputers for parallel computing purposes. And judging by the fact that the CUDA compiler is now open source, I’m guessing that this will spruce another technological revolution, as it more programming languages and processors (x86 or otherwise) might opt to include it into their architectures. Perhaps any ordinary people can now build a super-large parallel supercomputer at their backyard?

I started playing paintball at the age of 10, where my dad would organize paintball sessions down at the paintball range during the weekends with my siblings. To tell you the truth, I enjoy the paintball sessions tremendously, and I have participated in various paintball tournaments over the years too. Basically, I find it to be extremely exhilarating whenever I’m down at the paintball range, and every time I managed to tag my opponents with my paintballs, it gives me a rather satisfying feeling too. And if you want to know the secret to play a flawless game of paintball, it is simple – just equip yourself with the best paintball gears and these gears would most certainly guarantee victory for your team. Surely, if you are interested in going pro in paintball, I would urge you to invest some money into good paintball gear, as the gear would definitely give you an advantage in your game. Personally, I would recommend you to get started with paintball gun packages, whereby these packages contain all the necessary components like a paintball gun, paintball helmet, paintball ammo feeder, paintball gas cylinder, armor, paintball ammo pack, and many more. Guess what – Samsung is one of the largest microchip manufacturers in the world! Yes, although mainstream manufacturers like Intel and AMD stole the limelight for decades when it comes to microprocessors, there are other smaller microprocessor manufacturers out there – namely Samsung. And just recently, Samsung disclosed some juicy news about their upcoming microprocessor, which refers to the much touted Cortex-line of microchips.
Samsung mentioned that the next-gen Exynos 5250 SoC would double of everything, whereby it will come with two cores, while running at 2GHz each, and the onboard GPU can also display higher screen resolution too, which supports up to 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution (WQXGA). Samsung also pledge to mass produce the next-gen 5250 chips soon and these chips will soon find its way to high-end tablets by Q2 next year.

To tell you the truth, I’m a big fan of guns. Although I don’t own an actual gun, I do have several gun replicas, which resemble real guns. In fact, whenever I have some free time at hand, I would indulge myself with virtual war games, as I find these games to be extremely irresistible indeed. Also, I enjoy watching war movies tremendously, and whenever there’s a big gun battle scene, I find such scenes to be utterly thrilling and exciting. Just recently, a good friend of mine showed me his collection of air guns. Naturally, air guns resemble paintball guns, except for the fact that these guns use a smaller plastic or metal projectile as its ammo. Air guns also operate on the same mechanics used in paintball guns, whereby compressed air would be used to propel the projectile to its intended target. Since I’m a huge fan of guns, I have decided to purchase several air guns that would be added into my gun collection. My friend gave me some invaluable advices on air guns, in which I should always purchase branded air guns like the Airsoft Gun, as these guns are more reliable and have higher accuracy as compared to ordinary air guns. Also, branded air gun manufacturers would take additional efforts to make their air guns look more real too, which is an important factor for me. Based on my research, I have uncovered several branded air gun manufacturers, such as FAMAS, Colt, ICS, KWA, UTG Tactical, AEG, Galil, KJWorks, Sig Saver, Socom, and many more. Also, there are many types of air guns too, which consist of Airsoft Rifles, pistols, sniper rifles, shotguns, semi-automatic rifles, sub-machine guns, mini-guns, tactical rifles, and many more. Basically, I’m shopping around for the Echo1 USA E90 Elite Tactical Weapon, as I have always wanted to add the tactical gun into my arsenal. The respective air gun has high resemblance towards the real thing, and you can even observe the ammo count through the top ammo case too. The next gun that I would like to add in my collection is the Echo1 M249 Para AEG. This is the very same high caliber gun that was widely used at the Vietnam war, and even John Rambo wielded the gun in his infamous Rambo series. Although these guns would cost me a small fortune to purchase, I find the investment to be very worthwhile for an avid replica gun collector like me. |

If you are a huge fan of Motorola’s Xoom series, you’d be delighted to know that the next generation Xooms, namely the Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition – these tablets have been officially confirmed in its existence by Motorola. Basically, the Xoom 2 packs a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and it also runs on the Android 3.2. There’s 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a full-fledge 10.1 inch screen.
And as for the Xoom 2 Media Edition, the respective tablet packs similar hardware configuration, except for the smaller screen size, which measures at 8.2-inch. Personally, I find the Gorilla Glass onboard the Xooms to be a great addition, as clearly, the glass has superior durability, as compared to mainstream plastic. Also, the Xooms offer 20% better graphics performance improvement other its predecessor, and the Xooms also boast a 178-degree viewing angle too. Apparently, the Xooms are also currently being prepped for an Ice Cream Sandwich update, which makes the tablets extremely desirable.

I love skateboarding, and this particular activity is one of my favorite pastime activities. To tell you the truth, I find skateboarding to be a very cool activity, and my skateboarding buddies are very friendly indeed, which makes the skateboarding sessions extremely fun. And since I’m a skateboarding junkie, I have invested a sizable fortune on my skateboarding gears, which consists of skate deck, wheels, bearings, longboards, skateboarding protective gears, trucks, and other skateboarding accessories too. Also, I enjoy collecting skateboarding decks too, as I am extremely attracted to the designs that are usually incorporated at the bottom of the deck. Generally, the skate deck brands that I have in my collection are Toy Machine, Krooked, Baker Skateboard, Consolidated Skateboards, Powell, Zoo York, DGK, Black Label, Anti Hero, Alien Workshop and many more. And whenever there’s a limited edition skateboarding deck available for sale, I would most likely be the first to place my order, as these skate decks are extremely collectible, which makes it an extremely good investment indeed. And since I am surrounded by other skateboarding enthusiasts, this makes it easy for me to resell the limited edition skate deck to my peers.
Well, since I started working a couple of years ago, I have serious time constraints, as work obligations take a large chunk of my time. And judging by the fact that I do not have so much time to head to the nearest skate shop to purchase skateboarding gears, I now shop for my decks skateboard through web stores. I guess that most of us are accustomed to seeing black and metallic-colored Canon DSLRs in the market, but apparently, Canon wants to brighten up their DSLR offerings, simply by unleashing several color variants for the Canon EOS Rebel T3. Of course, the EOS Rebel T3 will now be available in red, brown, and metallic gray, rather than the boring black variant.
Also, since the camera went on sale this spring, the price of the respective camera has dropped by $50, from $599 to a promotional price of $549, which includes an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom II lens. When AMD announced their much anticipated Fusion A-series platform, the hybrid CPU/GPU system drew tremendous attention from the consumer market, as clearly, the architecture boasts better power management when compared to the Intel counterpart.
